Olajumoke Felicia Obishakin

Felicia is an interdisciplinary Biomedical Scientist with over six years of firsthand experience working with human viruses in an ISO 15189 accredited laboratory. 

Currently a Roving Research Assistant at The Pirbright Institute, she works in high a containment facility, focusing on the containment, control, and elimination of economically and medically important diseases to enhance the quality of life for both animals and humans.

Her abilities span Molecular Biology, Virology, Microbiology and Biochemistry. Felicia holds an MSc in Molecular Biology from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and an MSc in Biomedical Science from Keele University.

As a certified HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist with an IBMS portfolio, she is enthusiastic about research and has strong organizational, critical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and time management skills.
