Ehsan Sedaghat-Rostami

Ehsan completed a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Warwick, before starting a taught master’s degree at the University of Birmingham which included a research project in immunology and immunotherapy. During his MSc project, he examined the adjuvanticity effects of invariant natural killer T cells for Salmonella vaccine. 

Following his master’s degree, he joined Professor Andy Clark's team at the institute of Inflammation in University of Birmingham as a research assistant. He examined the interaction of an endogenous anti-inflammatory protein and its activator.

He is now a PhD student at the Pirbright institute in Professor Elma Tchilian's group. In his PhD project, he is comparing and contrasting the immune response against influenza and coronaviruses in pig models.
