Dr Chidiebere Ubachukwu
Chidi holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree (2013) from the University of Nigeria, and a Master of Veterinary Science (MVSc) degree in Veterinary Anatomic Pathology (2018) from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
He is an early career researcher, currently a PhD student in Biosciences and Medicine at the University of Surrey. At The Pirbright Institute, Chidi is in the PRRS Immunology Group, led by Professor Simon Graham. His PhD project seeks to improve the understanding of T cell responses in PRRS.
Chidi has years of experience in teaching, clinical veterinary practise, and veterinary marketing.
Back home in Nigeria, Chidi runs an educational charity, The Backbencher Education Hub, which provides academic mentorship and support to indigent students across Nigeria and West Africa.
