Elizabeth Wambui Gachanja is a PhD scholar at Nelsom Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology. Elizabeth received her undergraduate degree in Microbiology from Kenyatta University and her Master’s degree in Life Sciences and Engineering (Health and Biomedical Sciences) from Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology.
Elizabeth has authored 2 peer reviewed journal articles.
She has an extensive experience in Virology, Viral Zoonosis and Molecular epidemiology. She is currently working on Metagenomics on infant’s gastrointestinal tract and the relationship between Microbiome and Rotavirus. She is also currently working on Rotavirus zoonosis, reference genome Sequencing and analysis.
