Alex Norman
Group
Alex Norman is a DPhil student on the Oxford Interdisciplinary Bioscience Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) working in Dr Dalan Bailey’s Viral Glycoproteins group. He previously worked in computational influenza research and synthetic biology.
Alex is developing a mammalian cell display system for characterising and manipulating the neutralizing antibody response. He is also studying various aspects of respiratory syncytial virus biology such as innate immune modulation, transcription and genome replication, and inclusion body (IB) formation.
